Sundarbans is a mangrove area in the delta formed by the confluence of the Padma, Brahmaputra, and Meghna Rivers in the Bay of Bengal. It spans the area from the Baleswar River in Bangladesh’s division of Khulna to the Hooghly River in India’s state of West Bengal. It comprises closed and open mangrove forests, land used for agricultural purposes, mudflats, and barren land, and is intersected by multiple tidal streams and channels. Four protected areas in the Sundarbans are enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, viz. Sundarbans West (Bangladesh), Sundarbans South (Bangladesh), Sundarbans East (Bangladesh), and Sundarbans National Park (India).

Day 1 : Pick up from Canning Railway Station and transfer to Sonakhali/Godhkhali by Auto. After permit procedure, proceed to Dayapur. On the way, visit Gosaba Becon Bungalow, Hamilton Bungalow, Rabindranath Tagore Bungalow, Jotirampur Bird Forest.

Day 2 : Today places will be covered like Sajnekhali, Sudhanyakhali Tiger Reserve Forest & Watch Tower, Deul Varani, Banbibi Varani, Do – Banki Tiger Reserve Forest & Watch Tower, Panchmukhani etc.

Day 3 : Today is check out from hotel and after watching Jharkhali, Mangrove Interpretation Center, you will be dropped back to Sonakhali Ghat or Godhkhali Ghat.

  • The entire tour will be conducted by Auto from Station to Ferry Ghat and vice versa and then entire tour will be conducted by Launch Boat.
  • Family wise room would be provided. Single traveler has to pay Rs. 1,800 per night extra room rent if he/she occupies One Double Bedroom alone.
  • For booking, guests are requested to pay 30% advance amount of Total Tour Package Cost. Then, 40% amount of Remaining Balance to be paid 30 days prior to the date of journey. Last instalment, i.e Remaining 30% amount to be paid by Guest before the date of drop at Destination.
